• Wear proper protective equipment for hands and eyes. Refer to American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standard z87.1 for recommended eye protection.
• The maximum safe operating speed is listed on the pad label.
• Avoid contact with sharp edges, chemical solvents, and acidic or base solutions.
• Remove or install pad in accordance with tool manufacturer's specifications.
• Change abrasives frequently to prevent premature failure of backup pad.
• Backup pad face must be clean and free of debris.
  
• Use dust capture or local exhaust as stated in material MSDS. Wear government approved respiratory protection.
